Purpose :
The purpose of the M.Th. degree programme is to train candidates for teaching in theological institutions and leadership in various church related ministries. It is a two-year research-level postgraduate program. This course is designed to provide the students a comprehensive understanding of historical methodology and different perspectives of History of Christianity with the special reference to the Pentecostal movements in India. It enables the students to have an in-depth study of historical events and leading historical research and writing. This goal is achieved by taking a number of courses in the areas of their discipline and by doing a thesis at an advanced level in a field of specialization. It enables students who completes M.Th. with a first class or high second class to enter a doctoral course directly.
Admission Requirements:
1) Hold an ATA accredited Master of Divinity degree (B+) or its equivalent degree from a reputed theological institution.
2) A pass mark with at least 60 percentage in M.Div or its equivalent.
3) Must have completed at least two advanced M.Div. level church history subjects.
Graduation Requirements:
The course consists of successfully completing 45 Credit hours.
Core Courses : 24 Credits (8×3)
Elective Courses : 6 Credits (2×3)
Research Methodology : 3 Credits (1×3)
Thesis : 12 Credits
Total : 45 Credits
Overview
It is offered in the residential mode, Semi-residential mode and Day scholar mode (option given to the students) and the duration of study is 2/3 years. The course details are as follows:

- Seminar and paper presentation
- Final exams
Candidates will go through the exercise of thesis proposal presentation to the panel of expert(s) (each candidate will have a thesis committee) and work on the thesis with the mentor(s).

Payment Methods:
Student/Sponsor can either make direct deposits from your accounts OR make a cash deposit and bring the Chalan to confirm payment at the office OR by DD/Check (Including the processing fees) in the name of COTR College of Ministries. If payment is made by NEFT or RTGS, the transaction code must be submitted to the office. Application and Prospectus fees are to be paid during the request. Students should clear all fees and dues in full before the final examination. The College reserves the right to revise the fee structure as and when considered necessary.
