COTR, which stands for “Church on the Rock,” is one of the premier and prestigious Bible colleges in India. It was founded in 1981 by Dr. P.J & Mary Tius and is accredited to the Asia Theological Association (ATA).

COTR Theological Seminary exists to prepare men and women for transformational ministry and servant leadership in the mixed and global world we live in now. We are dedicated to making leaders who are centered on Christ and engage the world with honesty, compassion, and theological depth. Our work is based on the Bible and the power of the Holy Spirit.

COTR Theological Seminary was started with the goal of training leaders for the Church and society. It does this by providing challenging academic programs, vibrant spiritual development, and hands-on ministry training. Our all-around approach to education combines faith, learning, and service. This helps students find their calling, grow in their faith, and learn the skills they need to make a difference that lasts.
